Enjoy a beautiful cruise on the UNESCO World Heritage Site Nærøyfjorden and the spectacular viewpoint Stegastein on this round trip from Bergen.

Is there anything more enchanting than the breathtaking beauty of Norwegian nature, fjords, waterfalls and mountains? On this round trip with Fjordrive you can experience this amazing scenery firsthand on a road trip, including a two-hour cruise on the Nærøyfjord.

The tour starts by minibus at the Tourist Information in Bergen, before heading east, where our first sightseeing stop will be at the magnificent waterfall, Tvindefossen. Before this, we stop at Dale village for a 20 min. coffee, snacks and toilet break. Further on, we arrive at Gudvangen. Here you will take the electric cruise through Nærøyfjorden and arrive in Flåm. We will have 1 hour for lunch/sightseeing.  In Flåm your guide will meet you, and the tour continues to Aurland.

We will start the amazing climbing to the top of the Stegastein viewpoint. Stegastein has a unique and spectacular viewing platform that hangs 30 meters from the mountainside, 650 meters above the fjord, and offers an unparalleled panoramic view. The road from Aurland to Stegastein is part of National Scenic Routes in Norway. We will have the opportunity to take picture and go at the platform and see the amazing view. 

You will arrive back at Bergen Tourist Information by 18:30.

Highly recommended tour

This is probably the best value tour around, being driven to 3 sights in Nærøyfjord (1 of 2 UNESCO fjords in Norway) in a comfortable new van, and the best boat option- the all- electric, silent, smooth Future of the Fjords Sightseeing Vessel.Thankyou to the owner/ operator Geir for a great day.

Fantastic tour with amazing views!

My wife and I had a wonderful time with our guide, Geir, on this day-long tour! He was extremely friendly and did a great job making sure everyone was comfortable and felt free to ask any questions throughout the tour. The ride to and from the fjord cruise was extremely comfortable in his brand new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Tourer, and the views throughout were incredible. The stop at Tvindefossen waterfall was well worth it, and the Stegastein lookout was breathtaking. We had plenty of time at each stop to take photos and enjoy the view. The fjord cruise along the Nærøyfjord was simply amazing, and there was never a boring view throughout the two-hour cruise. Another reviewer described the tour as intimate, which is spot on. I'm so glad we chose this tour over one with a huge group on a full-size tour bus. If you're looking for an affordable, comfortably paced tour with a small group, you can't go wrong with this one!

A wonderful day :-)

I booked this tour via VisitBergen website. The mini bus departed on time from the front of Bergen Tourist Information. The driver-guide greeted all of us with warm and very friendly manner. Tour itself was excellent. Waterfalls, then we did get to the fiords using old, hardly used nowadays but very scenic road. The view as we were driving down was amazing ! Then we went up. Viewing platform, 2 hours of peaceful cruise in fjords. On the other end of boat trip our driver was waiting for us and off we went to Bergen.The van is in immaculent condition, brand new. There is air con and you can charge your phone via usb cable next to each seat.August 2019

Fjord tour to Nærøyfjorden, Flåm and Stegastein viewpoint

This tour is great, a lovely guide, with lots of local knowledge, who obviously loves his job! The tour was well thought out, with just enough of time at each stop.The tour took in spectacular scenery along steep winding roads, not just the quick way through all the tunnels and the view from Stegastein was awe inspiring!The air conditioned mini bus during a heatwave was really appreciated. The Fjord cruise boat was breathtaking, on the "Future of the Fjords" boat which, being fully electric made the journey beautifully serene. Overall, a wonderful, personal tour, supporting a local small business. We would highly recommend this, a day well spent!

Cancellation

We reserve the right to cancel the tour upon travel date if there are extreme weather conditions making the tour inoperable. You will receive a full refund. 

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of departure, a full refund can be claimed. Cancellation after this will not be refunded. Cancellation must be sent to contact@fjordrive.com

Tickets

Your email confirmation is your ticket for this tour. The tickets for the cruise will be provided by the driver.

Flåmsbanen tickets will be provided by the driver IF you have chosen this as an extra at checkout. 

Children

Children under the age of 4 is not allowed on this tour. If traveling with children under 135 cm, remember to book a child seat as an extra (no additional cost). Car cushions for older children are available in the bus.
